A WARDROBE STAPLE PAYING TRIBUTE TO HAWAII’S PCL LEGACY
History: The former Sacramento Solons moved to Aloha State for the 1961 season, adopting bright green and gold uniforms that pre-dated their parent club, the Kansas City Athletics, by two years. (One wonders whether A’s owner Charlie Finley got the idea for the gold vests from his PCL affiliate).
Made with medium-weight 200gsm cotton, this tee is designed to be worn over and over again. The tee is finished with a subtle Ebbets logo on the sleeve, embroidered “Hawaii” on the left chest, and vintage printed Hawaii Islanders graphic on the back.
